Write effective fields
Start labels with the action or observation the technician should make:- Inspect belt tension.
- Record motor temperature in °C.
- Select Pass, Flag, or Fail for the guard condition.
- Upload a picture of the damaged panel.
- Sign after lockout is removed.
Use tags intentionally
Asset and location tags describe where the Procedure applies. Tag the narrowest useful scope: a specific machine for an equipment-only instruction, or a location for a site-wide routine. Tags preserve the intended asset and location context on the Procedure. To place the Procedure on every work order created from a pattern, also add it as the Default Procedure on a Work Order Template.Revise or reuse a Procedure
Open a Procedure and use:- Edit to publish updated authoring content as the next template version.
- Duplicate to create a separate Procedure with copied sections, fields, options, and tags.
- Use in New Work Order to open a new work-order form with the Procedure selected.
- Delete to remove it from future work while preserving existing work-order snapshots and responses.
