Create a part
- Open Parts and select New Part.
- Enter the name and identifying details.
- Choose one or more part types.
- Add the manufacturer, part number, unit cost, image, attachments, and custom fields you use.
- Add inventory locations with area, on-hand quantity, minimum, and maximum values.
- Link the assets this part fits.
- Add scannable identifiers when technicians will look it up from a label.
- Save the part.
Set useful stock targets
For each location:- Count the physical stock.
- Set the current on-hand quantity.
- Set a minimum that signals replenishment.
- Set a maximum that represents the normal replenishment target.
- Add an area description such as a bin, shelf, cage, or vehicle position.
Link assets and vendors
Link a part to each compatible asset so planners and technicians can find it from equipment context. Add vendors separately to record supplier-specific numbers, costs, and a preferred supplier.Archive a part
- Open the part.
- Review active automation dependencies and remove them.
- Select Delete and confirm.
Restore a part
- Open Settings > Features > Parts Inventory.
- Select Open recovery.
- Find the archived part.
- Select Restore, or choose multiple parts for batch restore.
