Movement types
- Restock adds quantity at a location.
- Transfer subtracts from one location and adds to another.
- Used / consumed subtracts quantity outside the work-order issue flow.
- Adjustment sets or corrects a counted balance.
- Work-order issue subtracts the quantity used on completed work.
- Purchase-order receipt adds received inventory.
- Correction reverses an eligible receipt quantity while retaining both entries.
Restock a part
- Open the part and select Restock.
- Choose the receiving location.
- Enter a positive whole-unit quantity.
- Add delivery or count notes.
- Review the before-and-after balance and confirm.
Transfer stock
- Open the part and select Transfer.
- Choose the source location and quantity.
- Choose another location as the destination.
- Add notes and confirm the preview.
Record parts used outside a work order
- Start Transfer from the part.
- Choose Used / consumed as the destination action.
- Enter the quantity and a note explaining the use.
- Confirm the movement.
